Reading...

I have been reading some really good books the last month or so... so I thought I'd post the titles and my opinions so far... :-)

Men in Black: How the Supreme Court is Destroying America by Mark R. Levin; this book is a New York Times Bestseller, and a fascinating look at the judicial activism and our Constitution. As of half-way through ;-), I highly recommend it.

Agatha Christie And the Eleven Missing Days by Jared Cade; this is the true story behind the famous mystery-writer's 11-day disappearance in 1926... a real-life mystery, and very engrossing.

The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien; This is my first time reading this... (I know, how did I not read this during my childhood?) and it's getting more fun... (I really enjoyed The Hobbit)...

A Damsel in Distress by P.G. Wodehouse; Wodehouse is one of my favorite writers, his writing style and wit are simply delightful, and this novel was the basis for one my favorite childhood movies. So I HIGHLY recommend this one. :-)

Jamaica Inn by Daphne du Maurier; This 'adventure' novel is by the author of Rebecca and The Birds...it was written in 1935, and I love it so far. :-)

Benchley Or Else! by Robert Benchley; A humorist back in the thirties and forties, this is a collection of witty articles, some of the pieces are slightly "dated" but it's still a very funny book.

That's mainly all I'm reading... I read too many books at a time usually, but oh well. :-)
More later...

Comments:
Hi Ingrid! It's neat to see what you think about these books!

Have a lovely day darling! :)

WOW!!! How many books can you be reading at once?!?

Sorry, that was me! ;)

I want to read some of those books after you... :-)

LOL! Allison, I can usually read quite a few at once. ;-)

Greta... we'll see... if they're not due back at the library... ;-)

lol. I couldn't follow that many... I'd get lost! lol

You couldn't get lost! They are so different from each other!

Yeah, I know, but I'd never finish them anyways... lol

Greta: I'd say "Happy birthday early" on your blog, but I can't, so, Happy birthday early! ;)

LOL!... I often don't finish books... ;-)

Alison: I changed my comment settings so that you can comment on my blog :-)

Whoa! Advertising on *my* blog? ;-)

Advertising on *your* blog Ingrid?! ;) The nerve! ;) LOL!

LOL! I know! She's trying to get people to abandon my blog for hers! Well, I shall take measures. ;-)

No, she's not trying to get people to *abandon* your blog darling... (Atleast I don't think so... ;) ) ...just trying to get people to go to her's as well! ;) Yay! Now I can comment on two blogs!

Well, I'll be going to comment on *your* blog now, Greta!
LOL Ingrid! Finish a book?!? Who ever heard of *that*?!?

LOL!... With Greta, one must be very wary... she's a dear sister, and a sweet person, but one must stay on one's guard at all times... or else she'll sneak all of one's blog commenters away... ;-)
Or not... ;-)

LOL!

LOL!!! ;)I'll still comment here... :)

*floats along*
